Unit 8: The 2 practices which were the most beneficial

I feel the unit 5 practice, The subtle mind, and the unit 7, Meeting Aesclepius were most beneficial to me as they focused on going deeper into my mind which I actually felt more relaxed. I enjoyed the breathing techniques and the meditation experience from the unit 7 exercise. I did not mind listening to the woman's voice in this one compared to when I had to focus on the unit 4 exercise. Overall these experience's have added to my spiritual knowledge and taught me to fully relax whenever possible while continuing to be compassionate to all and live life everyday with love.

    The breathing technique is helpful, I truly agree. I can also see that different practice or exercises with either help you relax or it doesn't. It really depends on the individuals and their preference when it comes to achieving relaxation and inner peace.

      I would say I have to agree with you on the subtle mind exercise as being a favorite. Sitting in a quiet area focusing on one thing, such as your breathing made me go into a place of peace and calmness-I did enjoy it. But, as I am already a spiritual person, I didn't feel the loving kindness nor the Aesculapius exercise helped me, I am not much for sitting more than 5-10 minutes, plus the spiritualism that I already have gives me a sense of peace and love for myself and others-family or strangers.
