The scoring for my physical, psychological and spiritual well being remains the same I believe except that I am exercising more as I am starting to teach Zumba so I have to practice routines. I am happy where I am at at the moment. It has been a busy 2 classes through out this course and not a lot has changed however I have cut down on wheat products and sugar as I know they make me feel lethargic and my mind is not clear, so I feel a little depressed. I have started having a protein shake in the morning with coconut milk also; I use to take this a while back and I feel the difference. It is " Natures Plus Fruitein Green shake" So good :)
When I first started this course I was overwhelmed with the amount of work that was being asked however when I got started I made sure my time management skills were on point and made time. I promised myself at the start of my degree that I will have a B or above on all classes and I have achieved it so far with 3 classes left to complete.

I think that it is great that you have found ways to try and help your physical and mental wellbeing. Sometimes it takes many tries to find what really helps us become better versions of ourselves. I will ahve to try the shake you are talking about. Great job on getting a B or above on your courses, I too was somewhat overwhelmed with the amount of work when this class started, but it is good to challange ourselves and now you know that you can handle it, and probably more! ReplyDeleteI am so glad to hear that you are happy with where you are at this moment! I think that shows how much this class has enhanced your already positive soul. I have enjoyed reading your blogs each week and found them insightful and inspiring. I think it is normal to feel overwhelmed with the amount of work we have to do in our classes, especially when we are trying our best - it means more when it is a class that is going to help us improve in ways other than academically. Frankly, that is why I took this class myself. I have finished all my required courses for my business degree and felt that it was time to round out my "personal" learning and do something for myself.
Thank you again for all your help and encouragement over the past several weeks. This has really helped me become a more well rounded person. I feel I can really take what we have learned and use it to make my world and those around it a better place. Good luck to you in all your future endeavors... Sandy
Lou, I appreciated your suggestion of the fruitein shake and will try to find a recipe. I find that after I eat certain foods, I feel that way. The amount of salt I eat needs to change, and that is a work in progress for me. I know what I need to do in this area--it's the motivation that is a challenge for me right now.
ReplyDeleteI was overwhelmed at first, with all the requirements, especially blog and disscusion board. Eventually, I found it easier to do all of the assignments and then save blog for Sunday-Tuesday.
